JeanCOOPERCOOPER (South Heaton). Mrs Jean Cooper and family would like to thank relatives, friends and neighbours and late work mates of Joe, who all attended his funeral. We are grateful for the sympathy, kindness and cards of condolence and the donations of £264 at the service which is going to Ward 29, Freeman Hospital and Cancer Care. A special thanks to Dr. P Brooks for his care over the the last year or so. Also to Carol, Ada and Rose for their personal support of Jean at this very sad time. To John Welford, Companions 86 Mess, for the flag on Joe's coffin and the last in the book song "just a song at twilight" sung so well, thanks to all of you. To W.S Harrison and especially Pauline Tweddle for the excellent funeral arrangements and not forgetting Greta Craig, humanist speaker, again thank you.
